I'm not frightened of dying; any time will do

I already had "Great Gig in the Sky" going through my head before finding out about Richard Wright's death.  How do you eulogize a man responsible for expanding the minds and souls of my entire generation?  Answer: there's no adequate way.  Thank you for the music.

We should all celebrate his life, because people like him never really die. Long after you and I are gone people will be listening to him, and discussing his style in musical classes all over the world. But I share your sentiment - your angst. I don't think that I was more influenced musically by any other person. If you want to see just how much he got into my head, check out myspace.com/egoandtheids and click on "Out of Time." I am not trying to plug my musick at his expense. Just trying to show how much he influenced the noises in my head. This is a sad day.

I certainly was in the race.

As Kiri mentioned, KFOG played Dark Side with only a station ID when "side 1" ended. I had to leave the truck for a while, but got back in for Eclipse.

Amazing stuff. Amazing band.
